An August 15, 2008 supplement to the Puget Sound Business Journal lists the "best places to work in Washington" and notes surprisingly few with green initiatives. I've included the page numbers below.
BN Builders Inc. (22A) - Pays employees $2500 for buying a high-mileage alternative-fuel vehicle.
Seed Intellectual Property Law Group (22A) - Gives employees a FlexPass.
Overlake Hospital Medical Center (37A) - Gives employees a Transit pass.
NBBJ (12A) - Bike storage, showers and lockers. Transit passes. Company cars (new ones are hybrids).
Google (12A) - Residential solar program.
The supplement also lists the employees' favorite perks (20A) --
Schuster - LEED AP CE (31A)
Tangerine - allows workers to telecommute (21A); (34A) (I'm surprised their favorite perk is not the travel. Do they even send employees on familiarization trips?) I wonder how Tangerine's CEO can really manage the 46 employees she says report directly to her, when so many are telecommuting.
